The GCPH is a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow City Council, and the University of Glasgow, funded by the Scottish Government.
These partner organisations are formally engaged in establishing and supporting the Centre’s strategy, priorities and work programme through two key bodies: the Management Board and the Executive Management Team.
In addition to this formal partnership and governance structure, we work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and partners from a range of organisations, sectors and communities.
The role of the Management Board
The Management Board ensures good governance of the GCPH on behalf of the core partners, and provides leadership, advice and support to the Centre’s management team. Its strategic role is to ensure the overall delivery of the Centre’s work and its continued relevance to, and interface with, partners’ interests.
Management Board membership
Membership of the Board is drawn from all of the Centre’s partner organisations – Scottish Government, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow City Council and the University of Glasgow. The GCPH Director and Associate Director are also full members of the Board. The Board is chaired by the chairman of NHS GGC.
Date of next meeting: 13th February 2017
Executive Management Team
The Executive Management Team consists of a representative from each partner organisation and the GCPH Director and Associate Director. The Executive Management Team meet regularly, to consider emerging findings and their implications, new developments and any operational issues requiring partner involvement.
