The Centre is hosted by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and is subject to its financial management and audit processes.   The Centre's organisational structure inlcudes a Board of Management, an Executive Management Team and an External Advisory Group.   

Board of Management: two senior representatives from each partner organisation plus the Director of the Centre and the Director of Health Improvement, Scottish Government.

  • Agrees Centre strategies.
  • Ensures appropriate governance arrangements are in place.
  • Mobilises member organisations' responses to Centre outputs.
  • Monitors progress.

Executive Management Team (EMT): one representative from each partner organisation plus the Centre Director.

  • Develops and oversees the Centre's activities.

External Advisory Group (EAG): ten recognised, established experts reflecting a range of perspectives.

  • Provides strategic advice to the Management Team in terms of the overall direction and quality of Centre's work.
  • Supports long-term sustainability of the Centre.
