The Centre’s main resource is the people working towards its aims. Most of these people are working with the Centre from other organisations, rather than being employed within it. The Scottish Executive is supporting this partnership with an annual budget of £1 million. Therefore, the success of the Centre depends on securing the best value for money from these combined resources and on establishing effective partnerships with other agencies that are able to provide support. The Centre has a wide network of involvement and seeks to add value to the existing public health strengths in Glasgow and Scotland.
