The Glasgow Centre for Population Health was not set up only to provide a discussion forum, or only to carry out research. Instead, the Centre is focused on confronting the problems facing population health in Glasgow. Whilst this does involve research and discussion the Centre’s role does not end there as the Centre is committed to providing leadership for action, based on research and discussion, to tangibly improve health and tackle inequality.
