This Concepts Series briefing paper is the second to focus on asset based approaches.  The aim of this paper is to present and discuss a range of methods and techniques which can be used to mobilise individual and community level assets.  Building on the evidence and thinking presented in the first paper 'Asset based approaches for health improvement: redressing the balance' (GCPH, 2011), it is hoped that this briefing paper will provide further context and support to policy makers, practitioners and researchers and contribute to the growing evidence base on asset based approaches.
