Interested in joining our team?

10 November 2023

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our communications team, in the role of Digital Communications Officer.

This post has lead responsibility for the development and maintenance of the Glasgow Centre for Population Health and Understanding Glasgow websites and management of our social media channels. They also support the development and delivery of other digital communications such as infographics, animations, audio and video recordings, e-newsletters, and new media projects

The post also contributes to the planning, development and delivery of the GCPH Communications Strategy and works across our channel mix of written publications, events and face-to-face engagement, digital, and media. A key aspect of this role is the ability to translate complex information into creative, easily understandable, and engaging outputs, in a range of formats for different audiences.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled people and racialised communities as we recognise their historic underrepresentation within our team. We welcome evidence of experience from both work and non-work settings such as volunteering and personal experience.

A ‘find out more’ session is being held on Friday 17th November at 12.30pm via Zoom where potential candidates can find out more about the role and GCPH in an informal way. If you would like to register for this, please contact
