Katie works alongside Sistema Scotland, evaluating the outcomes and effects of the Big Noise programmes in Raploch, Govanhill and Torry. The research surrounding Big Noise is long-term, and plans to follow the children involved throughout their lifetimes. Currently the focus of research is on Big Noise Torry as Sistema’s newly established site. 

Katie recently contributed to Centre’s research on Participatory Budgeting. Katie’s background is in children’s health initiatives and community inclusion and engagement, and she has recently completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Glasgow.
