    Resilience - supporting transformation in people and communities

    An event hosted by the Scottish Community Development Centre, Community Development Alliance Scotland, Community Learning and Development Standards for Scotland and the Glasgow Centre for Population Health, took place on Thursday 6th February 2014 at The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

    The event explored resilience for people and communities and provided an opportunity to discuss the concept of resilience, its application, share examples of resilience in action and develop understandings of what makes resilience possible. 

    The event was chaired by Andy Milne, Board Member, Community Development Alliance Scotland and presentations on The resilience perspective were given by Pete Seaman, GCPH, Fiona Garven, SCDC and Rory MacLeod, CLD Standards Council for Scotland, followed by discussion sessions, plenary and feedback.
