Why we need it and the legal basis for processing your data

To send you information (specifically our e-newsletter) and to enable you to attend our events, we collect your basic personal data such as name, email address, (sometimes a phone number) and the organisation for which you work (if applicable). We only collect the data we need in order to provide and oversee this service to you. When we collect this data we ask for your consent for GCPH to use it for the purpose indicated.

What we do with your data

The data we collect will be processed by staff at GCPH.

This information is stored securely on our database until such time as you choose to unsubscribe from receiving updates. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters and other updates, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking the unsubscribe option on any email communication received, via our website or by contacting us.

We do not share your information with anyone out with GCPH.

What are your rights?

You can request access to the information we process about you at any time. If at any point you believe that the information we process relating to you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and may request to have it restricted, corrected or, erased. You may also have the right to object to the processing of data and the right to data portability.

Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to measure use of the website, including number of visitors, which pages are viewed, and how frequently they are viewed. Log files

Log files stored on our web server allow the recording and analysis of users' use of the website, such as pages accessed, client IP address, time, date, etc. Log files do not contain any personal information.  These are standard log files as used by the majority of websites.
