Equally Well workshop three: Tools to integrate health and planning

    Location: St Mungos Museum, Glasgow

    Workshop 3 programme

Equally Well is the title of the report of the Scottish Government’s Ministerial Taskforce on Health Inequalities.  The report called for a number of ‘test sites’ to be set up – the Glasgow City test site (one of eight in Scotland) aims to explore whether integrating health considerations into spatial planning policy and practice can help to address health inequalities.  The test site team includes staff from Glasgow City Council’s planning department, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Glasgow Centre for Population Health.

The workshop series was aimed at health and planning professionals working within Glasgow City who want to learn, engage and be inspired to work together to tackle health inequalities.

The third workshop took place on Tuesday 13th April 2010.  The series featured expert speakers and facilitators, site visits, tools and best practice examples, all with an emphasis on discussion and interaction.
