What if the meals served on campus could shape a healthier, more sustainable food future?
On 11th November we explored how Glasgow’s universities and colleges are using sustainable procurement and menu design in their large-scale catering to affect real change in our food system.
Glasgow is home to several universities and colleges serving food to a large number of students, staff and visitors every day. The higher education catering setting can play a huge role in serving healthy, sustainable meals at the same time trialling new ideas and meeting the needs of an often young, educated clientele.
During the webinar we heard from the University of Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian University and the City of Glasgow College about measures they are taking to provide healthy, sustainable meals for their discerning customers, educating them about good food along the way.
