Concepts Series 13 - Towards asset-based health and care services

Drawing on evidence and commentary from a range of sources, this briefing paper discusses the current model of public service delivery of health and social care, why a change to the delivery system is needed if services are to be fit for the future and what asset-based working may add to the way services are currently delivered.

The implications and opportunities of asset-based working for the health and social care workforce in Scotland are discussed and a small number of examples of service delivery are provided.
