HIA of the Local Development Plan: event report

This report describes a World Café event held in August 2014, which explored how policies included in Glasgow’s draft Local Development Plan (LDP) might impact on the health and wellbeing of the city’s population.
Four topics were chosen (Place and space, Housing, Transport and Greenspace) for discussion at facilitated tables. Attendees were asked to consider the potential health impacts of policies included in the plan on each topic. This report provides a summary of these conversations, and is intended to help shape the draft document and to promote consideration of health and wellbeing impacts within future strategies.
