Positive conversations, meaningful change: learning from Animating Assets

Animating Assets supported the initiation and development of asset-based approaches to a range of health and social wellbeing issues as identified by local communities or partnership groups in Scotland.

This report tells the stories of the research sites in which Animating Assets worked, presents findings and themes from across these sites, and highlights the aspirations and next steps for the local sites as they plan and develop their future directions.

The report also highlights the collective learning emerging from Animating Assets, and our experiences of asset-based working in community settings, and within and across services. Finally, the report concludes with a discussion of the enabling conditions required for asset-based approaches to take root, and proposes a model for action.
