Cash first training and awareness raising for community organisations

Attendees were invited to join the Glasgow Community Food Network and Glasgow’s Cash First project to find out more about the cash first work taking place across Glasgow and hear from some of the organisations providing support to the people of Glasgow such as Glasgow Helps, Glasgow’s No Wrong Door approach and Glasgow’s Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS). We also heard from Ross from Faith in Community Dundee who told us more about the community guiders training he’s been developing.

The aims of the event were: 

• To find out more about local organisations that provide cash first support  
• To discuss future training and awareness raising sessions
• To provide an informal networking space
