Glasgow Helps, and NHS GGC’s crisis support in hospitals

Join us to hear more about the support, information and advice provided by Glasgow Helps, followed by an overview of the Support & Information Service’s emergency crisis support available at hospitals across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 from 11am-12pm via Zoom webinar

The event will showcase two unique services working in different settings, both aiming to ensure people can access the right support. You will hear: 

• An overview of the support provided by the Glasgow Helps team to empower anyone who needs some help using an empathetic and non-judgemental approach, tailoring their support to individuals and building resilience. 
• An overview of the different types of emergency crisis support provided by NHSGGC Support & Information Service to inpatients, outpatients, carers, family members and staff in hospitals across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This includes emergency food parcels for anyone who has no food at home, small cash grants to enable pregnant women to attend hospital appointments, cash grants to support families with a child in hospital, support with home energy costs and financial support for staff in crisis.
